Superyacht Yogi Sinks off Greek Coast

Brand new 60.20 metre superyacht "Yogi" built in 2011 has sunk 19 miles off the coast of Skyros in Greece. The yacht was caught in bad weather and fortunately all on board were evacuated by rescue helicopters.

The ABS class superyacht was powered by twin 1,750hp Caterpillar 3512B diesel engines, had a steel hull, alumininum superstructure and complied with the MCA LY2

All those monthly drills that crew have to undertake were truly put to the test and in this intense video you can witness an amazing rescue.

All my thoughts go to the brave crew onboard and wish for a full recovery from a very scary situation.
