In only his second Twenty20 Cricket International, Richard Levi, the 24-year-old hard-hitting South African batsman smashed the world record for most sixes in an innings (13) and the fastest ever hundred (45 balls). He destroyed New Zealand in an epic performance at Seddon Park in Hamilton and with the IPL just around the corner this innings may put Mr. Levi in the millionaire bracket when further auctions take place.
It was the 222nd Twenty20 International played, meaning in cricket terms it was a “Double Nelson” and what a day to remember for the Johannesburg born super star who brought up his maiden hundred for South Africa.
Levi ended up 117 not out off just 51 balls as he chased New Zealand's 173 with ease.
And here is some more action from YouTube where he hits the fastest Domestic One Day Century in South Africa (100 off 53 balls).
The New York Yankees will be after him next!!
